Coronavirus (COVID-19) Critical Update

This update is all about the Coronavirus, "The Pandemic", and as a result, I felt it was important to not be silent in the wake of this mass panic going on. I'm not selling toilet paper or soap so if you have your hopes up, I'm sorry to let you down!

You get to choose how you are going to respond to this whole coronavirus scare. You can respond in PANIC or this can finally be that time where you take ACTION. Where you start taking ACTION on things you know you need to and stop putting things off. Stop going the way of the crowd, take some chances, and start investing in yourself.

Stop going half at your business. Coaches are out there that don't have the confidence to go full on at their business but they have a huge impact to make. Others have a message to share with others and they are making an impact. But, they won't spend the money it takes to scale to get to the next level, build their website, and launch their business on a platform where they can take their business to the...

Dumb Lies - I'm Just Not Good Enough - No Matter How You Look At It

Dumb Lies - I'm Just Not Good Enough - No Matter How You Look At It

How about the lie you tell yourself "I'm just not good enough". I know you have said it before and if that's you, get a piece of paper right now and let's start writing why you're not good enough. Write down all the reasons why you are not good enough: For your family, career, dreams, finances, health, spirituality. What are all the reasons you are not good enough?

Then, take another piece of paper and break that thing out and write out all the reasons you are good enough. All the reasons your God designed you to be good enough and more than a conqueror. Write them all out on the second page. You've got to know YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH but it is the LIES that come down from a big pit down below you that say "Hey, you're just not good enough to get another job. You're stuck there the rest of your life." LIES --> "You're too old to be thinking about going after your dreams. You better just go after that safety net you...

Fears of Losing a Stable Job - Better Not Take Risks

Fears of Losing a Stable Job - Better Not Take Risks

The classic case of someone with a stable job but yearning for more. "Jeremy, I really want to be more in my life. I really want to do this other thing but, I have this job right now and it pays be fairly good and it is safe. I've got these really good benefits and I'm just scared. If I lose that, then what?" You got to take risks if you want to see rewards. You have to be willing to go that extra mile. What if you succeed?

Why do we ask ourselves about why if we fail? What if you succeed beautifully and you get in this other job and you knock it out of the park? Some people are also afraid to approach their bosses and say "Hey, I want to get to that next level. What does it take?" DO IT if you want to move up in your company. If your boss can't tell you that, maybe you need to leave. Maybe you need to go down the road. Companies need to be promoting based on performance and not based on years with the company. If you are putting...

I Don't Want to Be Just Average In Anything

I Don't Want to Be Just Average In Anything

Can't we agree that most of us don't want to be average? Would you agree, you don't want to be running on the hamster wheel of your life every day chasing that neverending wheel to the top? I don't want to be that guy that's chasing the rabbit on the stick. I actually printed both of those pictures out and hung those at my desk for motivation of what I did not want to feel like I was doing. So, I could remind myself and give myself inspiration of "This is who Jeremy does NOT want to be!"

You don't have to be that person. If you don't want to be average, then you don't have to choose that. Step up to the plate and say "I am willing to not be average" and start taking the steps not to be. Being average is your choice. Be willing to start your own thing. Be willing to put the effort in it will take to get to that new job. Be willing to do what it takes to put yourself out there on social media and not care what people think about you....

Past Failures - Stop Letting Them Get You Where You Need to Be

Past Failures - Stop Letting Them Get You Where You Need to Be

One of the biggest things that hold people back from their dreams or going to chase a different career of their past failures. That voice inside saying, "Well, you know I tried to open my business before and it FAILED!" Who Cares? It's going to happen! Or, "I tried to get a job before and I stepped into this new role and it didn't work out at all. They told me I wasn't good enough and it FAILED!" TRY AGAIN!

Some of the most successful people who have really impacted people's lives the most have fell flat on their face hundreds or thousands of times before they finally had the breakthrough. You look at someone like Rachel Hollis and she got on the stage at Influencer and said, you better be counting on writing four books that fail before you start making some traction. Do you have it in you that you want to share bad enough? Do you care enough about people to put your message out there because you want to make a huge...

What If I Lose My Job When Pursuing My Dreams?

What If I Lose My Job When Pursuing My Dreams?

When we start talking about investing in your dreams and really putting that time, effort, and energy into you going after what you want to go after, ALL OF YOUR FEARS come out! There are fears that you have never felt before that just come out. People have these fears like "What is my company going to think of me when I start chasing my dreams and putting myself out there?" Am I going to lose my job if I chase my dreams? What I'm chasing my fears? You have to chase these fears head on and the honest part about it is this. You make up these unrealistic fears in your head like "What happens if I lose my job?"

"What is my company going to think about when I chase my dreams?" You have to decide for yourself "Why do your dreams matter to you?". Who are you going to make a huge impact in the lives of? What are you after? Are your dreams worth it? Are you worth it? If your company is going to look down on you because you are chasing...

I Can't Afford to Invest in My Dreams

I Can't Afford to Invest in My Dreams

One of the biggest pet peeves I have in being a High Performance Coach is hearing people to say to me "Hey Jeremy, I just cannot afford to invest in my dreams." It gets me lit up with fire. You found a way to buy that car you spent $30,000 on. You found a way to invest $100,000 in college debt. But, you don't have money to invest in yourself? Give me a break! Let's Get Real! You have money to invest in yourself. You go to the bookstore and you are sitting there wondering, "Hmmmm, am I worth spending the $25 investment in this book that I really want?" Is that realistic to be asking that question or what?

The one investment you have to make is the investment in yourself. You've got to believe you are worth it and if you don't believe that why not? What is holding you back? What is it? You have got to examine that. You are worth investing in yourself. The next time you catch yourself saying "I just can't afford to invest in myself", I you gotta...

What If I Keep Doing What I am Doing and Never Accomplish My Dreams?

What If I Keep Doing What I am Doing and Never Accomplish My Dreams?

What if You keep doing what you are doing and you never accomplish your dreams? Have you taken the time to seriously think about that? Doing what you are doing may be comfortable. But at some point in your life, if you want to take those next steps, you are going to have to change how you are approaching your dreams. You're going to have to change your routine and what you do. You are going to have to change the 8-5 routine if you want to accomplish dreams that are meant or set out for you. And you're going to have to get determined to do things that other people are not willing to do. You are going to have to be willing to take risks on yourself to get to those places you want to get to. Those places where other people simply aren't willing to put the work in.

So, the question is, are you willing to put the work in for the dreams that really drive you forward? Are you gonna do it? You've gotta do it if you want to...

Be Courageous in Everything You Do in the Performance Arenas of Your Life

What is the next level of you being courageous in whatever you are doing? For your job, life, family, finances...What is that next level of being courageous and taking on that next challenge, risk, or next level. What does that next level of courage look like for you?

I challenge you to write down where you could be more courageous for your family. Every day, are you at least taking 30 minutes to make memories and lasting memories with them? What about your finances? What could you do to make more of a difference financially? Are you doing everything you can spiritually?

Are you doing everything you can do to boldly show up for your health? I challenge you to write down what you could do more for all the performance arenas of your life (health, spirituality, career, family, dreams, finances) and see how that can make a difference. Focus and review those the next 30 days and see how that can make a difference in how you are showing up.

"What is the Next Level...

The American Dream is Not Dead - It is Alive and Well!

I was at the airport a week ago and overheard this conversation this lady was having with another lady. We were in the standard priority lines to check our bags. Then, I heard this lady say "The American dream is dead." She followed by saying "Who are we in this in country that our status decides how quickly we are going to get through the lines?"

There were two things that really bothered me.

1 - The American Dream is alive and well! We live in a country where we have freedom on religion, freedom to start our own businesses, and overall freedom to do what we want. For instance, if you want to make money, the unemployment rate is at the lowest level in 50 years. So, if you're not, you're making excuses.

2 - Status Item About the Airlines - If you had a business and had someone coming to you and giving you fifty times more business, are you not going to prioritize them a little bit more in trying to make sure they are happy and satisfied?

The American...
