What If I Keep Doing What I am Doing and Never Accomplish My Dreams?

What If I Keep Doing What I am Doing and Never Accomplish My Dreams?

What if You keep doing what you are doing and you never accomplish your dreams? Have you taken the time to seriously think about that? Doing what you are doing may be comfortable. But at some point in your life, if you want to take those next steps, you are going to have to change how you are approaching your dreams. You're going to have to change your routine and what you do. You are going to have to change the 8-5 routine if you want to accomplish dreams that are meant or set out for you. And you're going to have to get determined to do things that other people are not willing to do. You are going to have to be willing to take risks on yourself to get to those places you want to get to. Those places where other people simply aren't willing to put the work in.

So, the question is, are you willing to put the work in for the dreams that really drive you forward? Are you gonna do it? You've gotta do it if you want to...

Be Courageous in Everything You Do in the Performance Arenas of Your Life

What is the next level of you being courageous in whatever you are doing? For your job, life, family, finances...What is that next level of being courageous and taking on that next challenge, risk, or next level. What does that next level of courage look like for you?

I challenge you to write down where you could be more courageous for your family. Every day, are you at least taking 30 minutes to make memories and lasting memories with them? What about your finances? What could you do to make more of a difference financially? Are you doing everything you can spiritually?

Are you doing everything you can do to boldly show up for your health? I challenge you to write down what you could do more for all the performance arenas of your life (health, spirituality, career, family, dreams, finances) and see how that can make a difference. Focus and review those the next 30 days and see how that can make a difference in how you are showing up.

Don't Be Afraid to Post on Social Media Because of What People Think

This message is for some of you out there that feel uncomfortable putting your video or yourself out there on social media. I felt this way in January/February of 2019. Fact of the matter is, people may like it or may not. In reality though, people honestly don't care what you post.

Most people forget everything you have posted 24 hours later. Think back yourself or what you liked two days ago on social media. So many people are afraid of the haters out there that are going to beat them up over what they are posting but, what they are not thinking about are the lives they could change by sharing their stories.

The people's lives that you can light up and shine is totally worth it. Don't let the one hater out of the thousand people who love you get in the way of you making a difference in this world.

The American Dream is Not Dead - It is Alive and Well!

I was at the airport a week ago and overheard this conversation this lady was having with another lady. We were in the standard priority lines to check our bags. Then, I heard this lady say "The American dream is dead." She followed by saying "Who are we in this in country that our status decides how quickly we are going to get through the lines?"

There were two things that really bothered me.

1 - The American Dream is alive and well! We live in a country where we have freedom on religion, freedom to start our own businesses, and overall freedom to do what we want. For instance, if you want to make money, the unemployment rate is at the lowest level in 50 years. So, if you're not, you're making excuses.

2 - Status Item About the Airlines - If you had a business and had someone coming to you and giving you fifty times more business, are you not going to prioritize them a little bit more in trying to make sure they are happy and satisfied?

The American...

Being Congruent In How You Show Up in Life and Being a Role Model

Now everybody is trying to sell me. They say, "Hey Jeremy, I can help you be ten times more influential as a coach. Trust give me $10,000." Everybody is out there trying to sell you on something. And, obviously, some things are wiser investments than others.

One thing that I have learned and known but more to the forefront now. Be congruent in show you show up and portray yourself. If you have a business and you are trying to sell me on getting a greater social media following and getting more sales and all these different things coaches need then, make sure you are living into that congruently.

So, here's the story. I had someone try to sell me a $10,000 promotion package where they were going to help me with social media strategy, helping me build out my brand more, and at the end of the call, they quoted their price and I said NO. The funny thing is that person NEVER followed up with me! If you are a sales expert, don't you know you have to follow up with  me...

Worry About Outperforming Yourself and Stop Comparing Yourself to Others

As a Certified Coach and Performance Arenas Coach, I put a lot of emphasis on is "The Only Person you are trying to outperform day over day, week over week is yourself." You are trying to put out more by working harder, working smarter, and getting things done better. You're not in a competition. You are not competing with other people.

You are not trying to get this money other people have. You are you. Your competition is to outperform yourself. I really encourage you to put the emphasis on outperforming yourself. Stop putting emphasis on comparing yourself to others.

Who cares about the home that Johnny has or the amount of money that Susie has. Who cares? That is not going to move you forward toward where you are trying to go. Worry about you and performing yourself day over day. Hold yourself accountable for that and see how you change and show up in the world.

Idle Time is Trouble - Schedule and Plan Your Days Intentionally

It's my personal belief that when people have too much idle time, that is when they are getting into trouble. I try to really intentionally schedule my days so that I am making a difference in this world. Whether it is working, working out, working on my dreams...

The idle time is when people go out and get into trouble. Idle time when they are sitting on their time sitting on their phones wasting their time and life on social media. The idle time where people veg out on the couch and live on the couch. That idle time where they go out and drink and become an alcoholic and develop this unhealthy lifestyle because of idle time.

I think if we could be a lot better at scheduling our days and really holding ourselves accountable to really making a difference in the world, we'd show up at more of our true potential. Decrease your idle time and a lot of the problems that come from it will probably correct itself. Schedule fun into your day and look at your idle time...

Don't Underestimate Yourself and the Skills and Strategies You Bring to the Table

Never Underestimate Yourself. I have people that come up to me and say, "Well, Jeremy, I've just worked in this job where I've done tech support 10 years. And, I really just don't have anything I could share with the world."

I say "Really, you've worked in tech support for 10 years! You've helped people solve their problems. And, you don't think you have tools, strategies, and methods that you can use to start your company and share all these tech strategies with all these people with computer problems?"

People underestimate themselves. People underestimate their skills. When you are talking, amp up that level how you are describing yourself. You're a lot more than what you are giving yourself credit for. Quite frankly, you're not describing YOU how God would describe you as in contributing in the world.

When you go out there, give it your all. Use your skills you have attained to push forward in your future and stop underestimating yourself.

"Never...

Fuel Your Body with Energy It Needs to Push You Through the Day

In order to show up as who you want to show up in life, you have to take care of your body. You've got to get plenty of sleep at night and drink plenty of water during the day. You have to fuel your body with food that is going to help you push through your day.

It sounds so simple but it is taken for granted. If you are not intentionally doing it, it could show up in ways you are not expecting it. It could hinder you from sleeping at night. It could show up in your job and you wind up working an extra hour a day just because you don't have the proper fuel your body needs.

You may not be aware what your allergies are to different foods or what your intolerances are and so all of a sudden, you're not showing up as who you truly could be showing up as with your full potential.

Drink More Water.
Eat Better.
Know Your Allergies.
Know Your Intolerances.

And, then you're going to be able to show up a lot better in life. And, of course, every study shows you have...

Prioritizing and Aligning the Performance Arenas of Your Life - Jeremy Miller

You probably know that my big thing is Performance Arenas. And, what that is keeping your life in balance. Keeping your career, your health, finances, spirituality and God aligned and in balance. The reason it is so important is I see and talk to so many people that are really struggling.

I see and talk to so many people that work so many hours in their job and get so stressed out and they may have a health condition now that is going to stick around with them. You see so many people that work so hard and then their marriage goes bad. They think there's this big dream to start their own company and then they work so hard on that that they ruin their marriage.

We have to have balance in our life because if we don't have balance then this thing you think you are working towards is just not what it appears. The dream of having your own business and quitting your job and living your dream life...it's great to think that and chase those ambitions is great but don't go after...
